Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the production and to improve the wear resistance, by composing a solid tire of a toroidal outer skin section made up of a specified composition and a core of a polyurethane elastomer that is filled in the bore of the toroidal skin section. CONSTITUTION:The solid tire 1 is composed of the toroidal skin section 2 and the core 3 of a polyurethane elastomer that is filled in the bore of the skin section, which skin section 2 is made up of a composition including 10-90wt% powder rubber (e.g. a dien rubber having a particle size of 20-60 mesh) that are mixed with a polyurethane elastomer. As the core, use is made of a polyurethane elastomer having a JIS hardness in the range of 30 deg.-50 deg.. Thus, the comfortableness to drive and the durability can be improved.

Conventionally, solid tires are produced by injecting urethane raw materials into a mold and curing them in one reaction to form a toroidal urethane casting tire or by filling the inner cavity formed by the rim and tire outer skin of a pneumatic tire with polyurethane elastomer. Integrated so-called polyurethane traction tires have been proposed. The former has excellent wear resistance, but has the drawbacks of high rigidity of the tire itself, which impedes ride comfort, and high raw material costs. The latter also has the disadvantage of having a very complex outer skin structure, making it difficult to manufacture. It has the disadvantage that it is time consuming. The present invention has been made in view of the above drawbacks, and an object of the present invention is to provide an industrial solid tire that is easy to manufacture and has excellent wear resistance, riding comfort, and durability. Fig. 1 shows a cross-sectional view of the solid tire of the present invention. In the figure, the solid tire (1) of the present invention! It consists of a toroidal outer skin part (2) and a polyurethane elastomer core (3) filled in its inner cavity, - the said outer skin part (2) is made of polyurethane elastomer from powdered rubber weighing 10^90% by weight. Consists of mixed compositions. ``Here, the powdered rubber used is Bien Thai rubber with a 20-6.0 mesh. If a powdered rubber smaller than a 2o mesh is used, air bubbles will be trapped in the liquid when the powdered rubber is dispersed in the urethane raw material, making it difficult to remove the air bubbles, resulting in non-uniformity, and the strength after vulcanization will be reduced. Polyimrene rubber, polybutadiene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, etc., or mixtures thereof, and vulcanizates of these are usually used.

The ride comfort can be further improved. Therefore, if the powdered rubber is less than 10% by weight, the effect will be 5 flaws by weight and 90% by weight, and if it exceeds 90% by weight, the wear resistance will be good.

Next, the solid tire manufacturing method of the present invention is described in the third aspect. A space (7) is formed by an outer mold (5) and an inner mold (6) for forming the outer skin, which are divided into two parts shown in Figure 3 and fitted together. A ring type s8) is placed on the side. In addition, an injection port (a river and an exhaust hole U) for injecting the 50% urethane raw material is provided in the A-type (5).

A solid tire is obtained which is equipped with (2) and is integrally filled with a polyurethane elastomer core. In addition to the above-described method, the present invention may also adopt a method in which the core is molded in advance and then the outer skin is integrally molded on the outside of the core.

° As mentioned above, the solid tire of the present invention has a wear resistance of T4. In addition to being superior in durability, it also has rubber elasticity, which further improves riding comfort. Moreover, since no reinforcing materials such as carcass or punker are used in the outer skin,
Complicated work is omitted, shortening the process and saving labor, which improves performance. .
