Abstract

PURPOSE:To make printing clear by a method in which a piezo-electric element is provided to both a platen and a printing pin facing the platen, a printing paper is provided in intermediate between both, and the amount of electrostrictive effect is doubled beyond that of the conventional ones in which piezo-electric element is provided to only one side. CONSTITUTION:A platen 3 is made up of an piezo-electric element 5 and an electrode 6, a printing pin portion 4 is made up of a piezo-electric element 7, an electrode 8, and a printing pin 9, and these are provided at an interval enough to make the face 1 of the platen contact with the tip of the printing pin 9 at the time when electrostriction occurs. The distance between the platen face 11 of the piezo-electric element 5 and a printing paper 1 is kept enough to make both contact when the piezo-electric element 5 is distorted, and the distance between the end of the printing pin 9 and the printing paper 1 is kept enough to make both contact when the piezo-electric element 7 is distorted.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a printing device. In the case of a printing device that uses a conventional electrostrictive element to drive the printing wire, the distance between the Silatene and the tip of the printing wire is determined by physical factors, partly because the amount of strain in the electrostrictive element is very small. However, it was not possible to make the strain exceed the maximum strain of the electrostrictive element. This makes it difficult to operate when inserting printing paper between these intervals or when feeding paper, and the tip of the printing wire becomes difficult to operate. The problem was that the dots could get caught in the dots, making the dot pixels unclear or staining the paper.

The present invention is an improvement on the conventional printing device described above, in which a printing pin actuating part, in which a printing bottle is attached to a moving element, and a platen actuating part, in which a platen part is provided on the end surface of the moving element, are separated by a predetermined distance. Moreover, the present invention relates to a printing device in which a printing bin and a platen portion are positioned so as to face each other, and printing paper is inserted and held between the spaces described above.

In Figure 1, 1 is printed paper, 2 is printed IJ, d-no,
3 is a platen electrostrictive unit, 4 is a printing bottle electrostrictive element, 5 is an electrostrictive element for the platen, 6 is an electrode of the electrostrictive element for the platen, 7 is an electrostrictive element for the printing bottle, and 8 is a mold strain element for the printing bottle. Reference numeral 9 indicates a printing bottle; 10 indicates a source of an electrostrictive element for a platen and a mold strain element for a printing pin; and 11 indicates a platen portion. As is clear from the figure, the printing bottle electrostrictive section 4 is formed by attaching a printing tube 9 to the tip of the printing bottle electrostrictive element 7, and the platen electrostrictive section 3 has a platen section 11 on the end surface. It is formed from a platen electrostrictive element 5. Both strained portions 3.4 are formed to be driven by a power source 10 connected to electrodes 6.8 attached to each electrostrictive element 5.7. In addition, the distortion parts 3 and 4 are arranged so that the platen part 11 of the platen electrostrictive element 5 and the printing bin 9 of the printing bottle electrostrictive element 7 are separated by a predetermined distance.
Moreover, they are held and fixed by holding members (not shown) so as to face each other. The above-mentioned interval is such that a clear dot pixel can be displayed via the printing ribbon 2 on the printing paper 1 inserted between this interval by the operation of the distortion elements 5 and 7 on both sides. Further, the printing paper 1 and the ribbon 2 are inserted into the space with a small gap such that their opposing surfaces do not come into contact with each other, and are held by a holding device (not shown). Furthermore, during the separation between the platen surfaces of the printing paper 1 with an end face on the platen part 11 of the electrostrictive element 5 for the platen, if the electrostrictive element 5 for the platen is distorted, the end face of the platen part 11 of the electrostrictive element 5 is just right on the printing paper. The electrostrictive element 7 is formed so as to come into contact with the printing surface of the printing paper 1, and the end surface of the printing bottle 9 of the printing bottle electrostrictive element 7 and the printing paper 1
If the printing bin electrostrictive element 7 is distorted during the separation between the printing surfaces of It is formed.

As shown in the second figure, by supplying current from the power supply 10 to the electrodes on both sides of the electrostrictive element 5 for the platen and the electrostrictive element 7 for the print bottle, the pixel elements 5.7 are Strain occurs, and the platen portion 11 of the platen electrostrictive element 5 is strained due to strain displacement in the left-right direction (see the solid line diagram) of the strain elements 5.7 on both sides.
The surfaces of the printing bottle 9 of the printing bottle electrostrictive element 7 all impactfully rush toward the respective opposing surfaces of the printing paper 1. As a result, the printing paper 1 and the printing paper 4 are inserted and held at a predetermined distance between the distortion elements 5 and 7 on both sides. 7 I? The colored ink is transferred and a clear dot pixel is formed.

Due to the above-described configuration, the present invention has an advantage in that the platen and the printing can be printed by driving the electrostrictive element while the platen is fixed, and printing dot pixels using the printing bin attached to the electrostrictive element. Since the distance between the opposing surfaces of the bottle can be widened, it is easy to insert and handle the printing paper and the printing receptacle.

Figure 5 shows the printing bottle cloth 1 strain element 7 with the printing bottle 9 attached.
This figure shows a printing device in which the electrostrictive elements 5 for a printing bottle are arranged in parallel and are arranged facing each other to form a pair with an electrostrictive element 5 for a platen having a platen part. The element 7 and the platen electrostrictive element 5 are moved in the direction of the arrow as a pair, and the strain elements 5 and 7 on both sides are selectively operated with respect to the printing paper 1 which is moving upward or vertically. Then, the printing IJ prints dot pixels on the printing paper 1 via the bin 2.
