Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the blowing capacity of a blower and the air filtration quantity of a high capacity filter when no dust generating source exists to thereby prolong the life of the filter of high efficiency by providing a function to detect the existence of a dust generating source in the operational system of the blower. CONSTITUTION:In the air purifier in which dusts and dirts floating in the air are eliminated by filters 3 and 2 to create a pure working space 5, when non- existence of a dust generating source is detected by a dust generating source detector 6 which detects the existence or non-existence of the dust generating source such as a person or the like, the air filtration quantity of filters 2 and 3 is reduced. That is, in a case where no dust generating source exists, the blowing function of the blower 1 is reduced to reduce power consumption, and simultaneously the quantity of air to be processed by the highly efficient filter 2 is reduced whereby the life of the highly efficient filter can be prolonged.

Since the conventional air purifying device is configured as described above, the amount of air blown by the blower 1, that is, the amount of air processed by the high-performance filter 2 is constant. In this way, even when there is no dust on the workbench 5, the blower 1 and the high-performance filter 2 are working.

This invention was made in order to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional ones as described above, and it is equipped with a function to detect the presence of dust generation sources such as humans in the operating system (circuit) of the blower. If one does not exist, an air purification device that can extend the life of high-performance filters by reducing the blowing capacity of the blower to reduce power consumption, and at the same time reducing the amount of air processed by high-performance filters. The purpose is to provide the following. The present invention will be explained below based on the drawings.

is the same as in Figure 1, and 6 is the dust source detector 0
The dust source detector 6 only needs to be able to detect whether or not there is a dust source on the workbench 5, and various types of sensors such as optical sensors and mechanical sensors can be used. Although not shown, if there is no output from the dust source detector 6, that is,
A control circuit is provided to reduce the amount of air blown by the blower 1 when there is no dust source on the workbench 5.
