Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare a high quality toothed belt, by a method wherein a preliminarily fabricated reinforcing fabric with a tooth shaped mold is correctly arranged along the tooth part of an inner metal mold and a liquid resin (a polyurethane elastomer) is thereafter injected to carry out molding processing. CONSTITUTION:Both side parts of a reinforcing plate with a tooth shaped mold obtained by molding a reinforcing plate impregnated with a liquid resin are filled with a urethane foam 5 to form a reinforcing fabric 4b with a connecting segments. In the next stage, the above described reinforcing fabric 4b is wound around a cylinderical inner metal mold 12 in an endless form while inlaid with tooth shaped grooves 13. フレクンエラストマー硬化後金型よりベルト成形体を取
外し、このベルト成形体を円周方向に所定幅に輪切し、
複数本の歯付ベルトを得る方法が最も一般的な製造法で
あるが、ロープ抗張体の捲回時、或は液状ウレタンエラ
ストマーの歯部への充填時に補強布の位置ずれが発生し
、ベルト歯部表面に気泡が発生したり、歯部表面の補強
布にしわ、たるみなどが発生し、円滑なベルト駆動を望
む上で最も重要な個所たるベルト歯形部の均一かつ正確
゛な成形作業に多々問題点があった。

うるので、爾後のロープ抗張体の巻着は作業、液状フレ
タンエラストマーの注入作業の折にも補強布のずれ、し
わつき、折れ曲りなどベルト歯部の成形に致命的欠陥を
発生せしめる原因を完全に除去せしめることができ、補
強AJはベルトの歯部全面に亘って正確かつ強固に定着
されるので、爾後のベルトにあって歯元クラッタの発生
もなく、かつ噛合状態良好なベルトを艮期に亘って維持
せしめることができる。
