Smoke detectors are required to be inspected and maintained regularly, and as a means of inspection, they are actually exposed to smoke using a pressure tester to check whether they are operating normally.

To solve these problems, various types of compensation testers have been proposed that use a fan rotated by a motor to forcibly introduce smoke into the detector and exhaust it, thereby shortening the inspection time. However, these conventional ventilation testers require troublesome operations such as rotating the fan forward and backward when introducing smoke and exhausting smoke, and because sufficient air volume cannot be obtained, it takes a relatively long time when exhausting smoke. A satisfactory salary testing device has not yet appeared due to the time required.

Then, the outside air introduction hole 31 bored around the bottom plate of the main body casing 30 is closed by the collar 12 of the lid 13 to prevent outside air from flowing into the main body 3, and at the same time, it is brought into close contact with the lid 13. The switching valve 2, which had been previously closed, is also pushed down, so the return outlet hole 18 is opened, and the smoke that had filled the smoke chamber 1 is transferred to the return outlet hole 18 and the smoke/outside air on the main body 3 side, as shown by arrow A. It is introduced into the main body 3 through the introduction hole 36.

The advantage of using smoke with less unevenness is that it makes it easier to test the operation of accumulation-type smoke detectors, which are activated when smoke of a certain concentration or more flows in for a certain period of time, which has been widely used recently. It is.

Next, to remove the smoke that has accumulated inside the smoke detector, operate the operating rod 5 to create a gap between the ceiling surface C and the tip of the hood 4 as shown in FIG. Place the smoke detector in the hood 4 so that it can be opened.

If this smoke evacuation work is to be performed as a continuous operation of the above-mentioned salvage work, it is sufficient to open a gap between the ceiling surface C and the tip of the hood 4 by slightly pulling down the operating rod 5 that was pressed against the ceiling surface C. .

In this way, the hood 4 and main body 3 are pushed up by the force of the spring 8, and the switching valve 2
is in close contact with the lid body 13 to close the return outlet hole 18 and close the smoke chamber 1.
At the same time as preventing smoke from flowing out, a gap is opened between the lid 13 and the bottom plate of the main body lid 30, so the smoke/outside air introduction hole 36 is opened and outside air is introduced into the main body 3.

Furthermore, since a gap is created around the flange 12 of the lid 13 and the bottom plate of the main body casing 30, the plurality of outside air introduction holes 31 are opened, and more outside air is introduced into the main body 3.

In this way, a large amount of outside air is introduced during smoke evacuation, so
The air volume by the fan 32 increases dramatically compared to when the air is turned on.
The air flow follows the path of rising inside the hood 4 as shown by arrow B and being discharged from the gap between the smoke detector and the tip of the hood 4, and the smoke inside the smoke detector is quickly sucked and discharged. .

It should be noted that if the diameter of the smoke/outside air introduction hole 36 is made sufficiently large, the above-mentioned smoke evacuation function can be sufficiently performed, so there is no need to provide a plurality of outside air introduction holes 31, and the smoke evacuation method is as follows. As mentioned above, instead of placing the smoke detector inside the hood 4, the air pressure tester K is brought closer to the smoke detector from the side, and a large amount of air blown out from the tip of the hood 4 is placed inside the smoke detector. It is also possible to spray the smoke into one of the introduction holes d and exhaust the smoke from the other introduction hole d.

In actual operation tests, an upper limit is specified for the speed of smoke when pumping, and the concentration of smoke must also be constant; on the other hand, it is better to exhaust the smoke as quickly as possible. Therefore, the salary tester according to the present invention is even more effective.

As described above, the salary increase tester according to the present invention allows salary increase and smoke evacuation work to be performed only by operating the switching valve by moving the operating rod up and down.
In addition, since the air volume during smoke exhausting is dramatically greater than that during smoke evacuation, inspection work can be carried out quickly with extremely simple operations, which is useful for disaster prevention.
