In particular, if rust occurs inside the friction material, the strength will drop significantly and wear will increase, and if the rust is significant, melting may occur that may lead to the friction material falling off.

ができる極めて有用なセミメタリック系摩擦材である。In order to test the rust-preventing effects of these products, 40 samples each of the conventional product without anti-rust measures and the example product of the present invention were tested.
After heating and deteriorating for 3 hours in an oven at 0°C, it was immersed in a 5% salt solution for 1 hour, and this process was repeated 5 times. After leaving it for 10 days, the friction material was observed for rust on the outer periphery and inside. As a result, the following table shows the results. As shown in the figure, rust is observed all over the outer periphery of the conventional product, and rust is also found scattered here and there inside the friction material, while almost no burrs are found on the outer periphery or inside of the example product. It is certain that the effect is great. Thus, the present invention is an extremely useful semi-metallic friction material that can achieve great effects with a simple structure.
