    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 主軸１の外周に固着したスタフイングボックス２と、該
    スタフイングボックス２の一端凹所にばね１２を介して
    遊合した従動リング３と、該従動リング３に当接しその
    当接面をもってシール部を形成するシートリング４と、
    該シートリング４を前記主軸１の移動に伴って移動させ
    る円筒状のシートリング押え５およびグランドカバー６
    と、前記スタフイングボックス２の外径部にばね１６゜
    １６′を介して摺動可能に遊合された一対のスラストリ
    ング７．７′　と、前記グランドカバー６の端部に固着
    され、外径部数個所がカバー８の突出孔１８に挿入され
    内径部が前記スラストリング７゜７′に挾持されたスラ
    ストプレート９とを備えてなるメカニカルシール。
