Abstract

PURPOSE:To execute the band conversion without using a special band converter, by providing an input part, to which the picture signal is inputted from the external, in the charge transfer part of a solid-state image pickup element and making driving frequencies for input and readout different from each other. CONSTITUTION:The picture signal from the external applied to an input terminal 8 is inputted to a register 10 through a voltage-charge converter 9.
