Heating tubes by steam supply are arranged in an L-shape in parallel with the axis of the body in the circumferential and radial direction, and both ends of the heating tubes are connected by a heating tube header and a condensing wood tube header. A pipe array type heating element is arranged around the entire circumference of the body, and the heating tube group is heated by passing steam through it, and at the same time, it is rotated together with the body, heating and drying the tobacco loaded therein and moving it toward the exit side. The heating element, which is made up of a large number of arranged heating tubes and has a hole-shaped configuration, can be used to discharge tobacco in the valleys between the heating tubes, or when tobacco is ejected from the iron part. Since the phenomenon of spillage occurs, as shown in Figure 6, a closing plate a to prevent tobacco spillage is required between the heating tubes, which reduces the effective heat dissipation of the heating group, which directly affects the drying and curling of tobacco. The area is only on one side shown by the shaded area on the E line, which reduces the effective heat dissipation area, increases the weight due to the installation of a large number of closing plates, and makes manufacturing and processing complicated.

があった。In addition, the steam supply and drain discharge headers that are required at both ends of the pipe array heating tubes that serve as the heating element must be welded directly and individually to this large number of heating tubes, so the pipe gaps are narrow. Combined with this, welding work is extremely difficult, and because of this, stress is easily applied to the welded joints.
As a result, there were drawbacks such as steam leakage often occurring from the welded portions of the heating tubes.

することを目的とするものである。Compared to the L-shaped heating element that is installed in a rotary tobacco dryer and is made up of pipe-arrayed heating tubes, this heating element has a larger effective heat dissipation area, which is the contact surface for tobacco, and is also lightweight and easy to manufacture. Another object of the present invention is to provide a heating element for a cigarette dryer at a low cost, which does not cause strain on the welded portion and is free from the risk of steam leakage.

Continuously corrugated plate 1 has a smooth curved substrate 3 and has a tangent circle configuration to provide a large heat dissipation area on the inner circumferential side which is a direct heating surface for tobacco.
0 is opposed to the substrate 3, and the contact portions 12 between the corrugated bottom portion of the corrugated plate and the substrate 3 are pressure spot welded at a predetermined interval in the longitudinal direction of the substrate as shown in FIG. Wavy protrusion 1
1 is closed with blind lids 13 to form a steam passage, so that a minute gap is generated instead of a molecular bond between metals except for the pressurized point weld in the contact part 12. ,
When steam is vented into each corrugated protrusion 11, steam flows into this portion, and the entire corrugated curved surface of the continuous corrugated plate 10 receives the heat of the steam, and the entire surface of the continuous corrugated plate 10 inside the heating body 14 is heated. becomes a large effective heat dissipation area for cigarettes.

。The heating body 14 of the present invention is the body 1 of the tobacco dryer as described above.
It is used by arranging multiple pieces inside as shown in Figure 1.
To explain its operation, as in a normal cigarette dryer, the body 1 is rotated in the direction of the arrow in FIG. Then, the wavy protrusion 1 of the continuous corrugated plate 10 passes from the header 4 through the porous portion 8 provided in the substrate 3.
1, and this steam also vents through the minute openings between the continuous corrugated plate 10 and the pressurized spot welds of the substrate 3, and around the heating body 14 C, D, E, as shown in FIG. F and the entire surface of the heating body 14 in the longitudinal direction A and B shown in FIG. be discharged.

As the body 1 rotates, it repeatedly rises, reverses and falls, and is smoothly heated, properly dried, and, like a normal rotary dryer, cigarette packs are Tobacco is gradually transferred to the discharge side by the inclined rotation of the body 1, which is arranged such that the entrance side is high and the discharge side is low.

The heating elements of the present invention, which are arranged in plural pieces along the cylinder axis and equally divided on the inner circumference, are long in the cylinder axis direction and have a smooth outer peripheral surface with a hook-shaped part at one end of the curved open edge. A hollow curved substrate and a continuous corrugated plate having a tangential circular configuration forming a vapor passage with a wavy protrusion along the longitudinal direction of the substrate are opposed to the inner peripheral surface of the substrate,
The contact area between the wave bottom and the board is joined by pressurized spot welding at intervals, and the curved circumferential surface of the heating body forms a continuous waveform, making it possible to convert the conventional heating tube into an L-shape. There is no need for a closing plate that must be installed to prevent tobacco from getting caught in the gap between the tubes or falling through the gap, as in the case of a pipe-array heating element arranged in parallel with the mold, and the pipe-array heating element Due to the presence of closing plates between the heating tubes, the heat radiation area of the heating tubes that come into contact with the tobacco is halved, and the ineffective heat radiation area accounts for a large proportion, resulting in a lot of wasted thermal energy. However, the heating element of the present invention Since the contact points between the continuous corrugated plate and the substrate are spaced apart and joined by pressure spot welding, steam can vent even in the minute holes between the welds, and the entire surface of the continuous corrugated plate on the inner surface of the heating element is heated. It serves as a heat dissipation surface, and its wavy shape provides a large effective heat dissipation area that comes into contact with the cigarette, and reduces loss of thermal energy.

Moreover, it is much lighter and can be obtained at a lower cost than the conventional pipe arrangement type heating body which requires closing plates between the parallel heating tube groups and base tubes.

This shortcoming can be solved very easily, maintenance is easy, and when using a plurality of heating elements distributed equally around the entire circumference of the body of a rotary cigarette dryer, the hook-shaped Due to the hollow curved shape of the heating body, the tobacco is held for a long time during rotation, which is advantageous for drying and curling the tobacco.
