Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a soln. contg. adequately dissolved flocculating agents suppliable to polluted water continuously for a long time by packing the solid flocculating agents in a water permeable containing body, and bringing water forcibly into contact with the flocculating agents. CONSTITUTION:A water permeable containing body 2 packed therein with a solid flocculating agent 3 is suspended in a hopper 1. Three kinds of different flocculating agents; A, B, C are packed in the body 2. A water spray nozzle 4 for spraying water to the body 2 is provided in the upper part. In the case of treating polluted water by using a dissolving device of such solid flocculating agents, the supernatant water of a clarifier is supplied through a submersible pump to the nozzle 4 from which said waer is sprayed onto the water permeable containing bodies A, B, C. When the water is sprayed, the flocculating agents in the body 2 dissolve gradually and are added into the polluted water through a pipe or the like from the liquid outflow port 3 in the bottom of the hopper.

However, when turning into a liquid, substances with very poor solubility require a special dissolving device. When adding liquefied products to polluted water, it is difficult to finely adjust the consistency, so there is a tendency to add too much.
