Abstract

PURPOSE:To elevate the measuring accuracy by arranging a moisture measuring apparatus for measuring moisture level receiving grain particles thrown into a dryer facing the inlet to receive those with a higher specific gravity. CONSTITUTION:A lift 3 is provided on the side of a hygrostatic tank 2 and an upper spiral 4 on the ceiling. Grain particles fed into the body of a dryer from a hopper are lifted with the lift 3 and thrown into a communication path 21 from an inlet 20. Then it is supplied in dispersion into the hygrostatic tank 2 through the upper spiral 4 and a distributor and further flow down to a drying chamber to be exposed to a hot air. A moisture measuring apparatus 22 opens at the top and bottom and a fixed electrode 28 and a mobile electrode 29 are provided in a box-shaped carrier 27 with a freely openable shutter 26 on the lower opening 25. When the grain particles are thrown in the direction A, the refined particles with a higher specific gravity are sent far away so that the measuring apparatus 22 can receive the refined particles.

A grain dryer (hereinafter simply referred to as a dryer) is used that blows hot air to dry grains such as paddy put into a tank while flowing them downward. In order to check the degree of dryness of grains in such dryers, a moisture meter is often installed that measures the moisture content electrically by holding multiple grains between a pair of electrodes, but conventionally In the dryer, the above-mentioned moisture measuring device was placed on the inner wall where the grains flow down, so if there are many grains with stems or a high moisture content, the flow of the grains may be poor. As a result, the number of particles held between the electrodes decreased, causing variations in measurement results and reducing measurement accuracy.

In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, this invention was made with the purpose of providing a moisture measuring device with high measurement accuracy. The moisture meter for measuring moisture content is provided opposite the input port so that grains with a high specific gravity can be received. The following is a description of the embodiment shown in Figure 1. An elevator (packet elevator) 3 is provided on the side of the humidity control tank 2, an upper spiral (screw conveyor) 4 is provided on the ceiling, and a lower portion is provided on the lower end. A spiral 5 is arranged in each case. A drying chamber 6 is provided in the upper part of the lower spiral 5, with a burner section 7 at one end and a fan 8 at the other end. A motor 9 is provided below the fan 8, and rotational power is transmitted from the motor 9 to the fan 8 and the lower spiral 5. The opposite end of the lower spiral 50 reaches a receiving port provided at the lower end of the packet elevator 3, and power is transmitted from the lower spiral 5 to the packet elevator 3. The rotating shaft 10 provided at the upper end of the packet elevator 3 and the rotating shaft 4 of the upper spiral 4
a is connected by pulleys 11, 12 and a belt, and rotational power is transmitted from the packet elevator 3 to the two-part helix 4, and this rotational power is transmitted to the bevel gear device 15.
is transmitted to the rotary distributor 16 through the rotary distributor 16, which is rotated. The grains supplied from the hopper 17 into the dryer main body are carried up by the packet elevator 3, and are transported to the input port 20.
A communication path 2 connecting the packet elevator 3 and the upper spiral 4
1i is introduced and distributed and supplied into the humidity control tank 2 via the upper spiral 4 and the rotary distributor I6. The grains supplied into the tank gradually flow downward, are exposed to hot air from a part of the burner in the drying chamber 6, and are then circulated and supplied to the packet elevator 3 again by the lower spiral 5. be.

At the same time, a moisture measuring device 22 is attached to a wall portion facing the input port 20 of a communication path 210 connecting the packet elevator 3 and the L portion spiral 4 in a state in which it is partially inserted from the outside. As shown in FIG. 3, the moisture measuring device 22 has a fixed electrode 28 and a movable electrode 29 in a box-shaped container 27 that is open at the top and bottom and has a shutter 26 that can be opened and closed at the bottom opening 25. It will be arranged. The fixed electrode 28 is fixed in a recess 32 provided in a front wall 31 that serves as a socket 30 whose upper end curves outward. The two moving electrodes are
It is provided so that it can be reciprocated in the direction of arrow B by a power device (not shown), and grains can be held between it and the fixed electrode 28. This moisture measuring device 22 has a conductor 33
It is connected to the control box 30 by.

The grains carried by the packet elevator 3 are either thrown into the inlet in the direction of arrow A when the packet is turned over at the upper end, or at this time, the fine grains with high specific gravity fly away, Since strawberries and rice husks with light specific gravity fall at a position close to the input port, fine grains are exclusively input into the receiver 27 of the moisture measuring device 22, which is provided at a position opposite to the input port 20, and rice husk, etc. Contaminants are not mixed in. Since the shutter 26 of the receiver 27 is open when not measuring moisture,
The grains thrown into the receiver also fall downward and are guided into the upper spiral 4, but when the measurement switch 31 of the control box 30 is turned on, the shutter 26 closes and the grains accumulate in the receiver 27. go.

When a suitable amount of grain has been added, the movable electrode 29 is replaced with the fixed electrode 28.
the grains are compressed or crushed between both electrodes by advancing sideways;
Moisture is measured as an electrical resistance value or capacitance value between both electrodes. Since the object to be measured is a fine grain scale, the variation in measured values is small and the measurement accuracy is high. This measured value is displayed on the display section 32 of the control box 30. After the measurement is completed, the moving electrode 29 is moved back and the shutter 26 is kept open. Note that it is convenient if the shutter 26 and the movable electrode 29 are linked so that the movable electrode is automatically moved after a certain period of time has elapsed after the shutter 26 is activated.

As explained above, in the present invention, the moisture measuring device is provided near the inlet for introducing grain into the tank at a position opposite to the inlet, so that the sample for measurement has a relatively low specific gravity. Only high-quality grains were obtained, the variation in measured values was small, and the measurement accuracy was high.
