Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a simple floating dock by arranging two ships in parallel to utilize their buoyancy. CONSTITUTION:Two ships 1 fixedly interconnected with a girder 2 are provided in the outside holds with water tanks 3 into and from which is poured and discharged water to verticaly move the whole dock while providing a function of maintaining balance when ships or the like enter the central dock portion to apply a load to the dock. A working bed 7 is mounted in the interior of the girder 2 if necessary. Water proof doors 5 provided in the front and rear portions of this dock are mounted on the girder 2 or the working bed 7. This dock is made a dry one by closing the water proof door 5 to discharge water in the interior.

Conventional floating docks were concave and expensive to construct, but
Since the present invention uses a boat, it can be self-propelled, and second-hand boats can be used, so it can be constructed at low cost. Also, it can function as a floating dock by simply attaching a girder and attaching a steel plate to the bottom of the girder. It is easy to construct.
