Abstract

PURPOSE:To make easy a maintenance work such as inspection and repair, and to reduce a noise to be generated by a ventilation fan. CONSTITUTION:A ventilation fan body 1 has an inlet port 2 and a duct connecting port 3 provided at one side other side thereof respectively, and is further provided internally with a fan 4 adapted to such and exhaust an air through the inlet port 2 and the duct connecting port 3 respectively. A noise insulation material 9 is applied over an internal wall of a box-shaped ventilation box 6 having a lateral side outlet port 7 defined in one side thereof to be in alignment with the inlet port 2 and an underside inlet port 8 defined in a lower portion thereof, so as to reduce a noise. The ventilation fan body 1 is attached to a reinforcing frame 16 provided at an underside of ceiling, and the ventilation box 6 is jointed with the ventilation fan body 1 by engaging a hook 10 of the ventilation fan body 1 with an engagement hole of the ventilation box 6, and by inserting a screw through the inlet port and the lateral outlet port 7. Thereafter, a face grill 14 is attached to the ventilation box 6 by means of a spring piece 15. Being so constructed, the ventilation fan body 1 can be easily inspected and repaired by removing the face grill 14, loosening a fan bolt 18 for removing the tilation box 6 and removing from the backside of a ceiling.
