Abstract

PURPOSE:To transfer efficiently a distinct image, by tacking a toner image formed on an electrophotographic photosensitive drum to a transfer base material whose surface has a peeling property, forming a transfer layer being a mirror image of an original, and heating and pressing this transfer layer to a regular transfer material. CONSTITUTION:An image which develops a image of an original A on a photosensitive drum 1 of an electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 by a toner 24 is transferred by use of a tacking corona device 6, onto a transfer base material 20 having a peeling layer 23 which applies a peeling agent such as silicon resin, etc. on a supporting body 22 such as paper, a plastic sheet, etc., is tacked by a heat drum of a tacking machine 10, and a transfer layer 25 having an inverted image of the original A is tacked on the peeling layer. Subsequently, this transfer base material 20 is superposed with the transfer layer 25 on the surface of a regular transfer material, is transferred by use of a heating press plate, a heating roll, etc., and thereafter, the supporting body 22 is peeled off together with the peeling layer 23, by which a transfer material is obtained. In this way, a distinct picture can be transferred efficiently and at a low cost.

In the present invention, a photoconductor is electrostatically charged with a charger, and an optical image corresponding to the document is projected onto the surface of the paper by an exposure device to discharge the charge and create an electrostatic latent image. A toner is applied to the surface of the photoconductor on which a latent image has been formed, and then it is developed and peeled off.
A device characterized in that an nfcrIMIi8I layer visualized by a photoconductor is temporarily adhered to the peeling layer @ surface of a transfer substrate on which a peeling layer is formed. As shown in FIG. 9, an attempt is made to reduce costs by providing a transfer material that can transfer clear image lines.

Here, to explain the transfer base ■, paper, synthetic paper,
A release layer coated with a release agent such as silicone resin is formed on a support material (b) made of a plastic sheet or the like. However, if a releasable plastic sheet or the like is used as the transfer base material, the surface thereof becomes a releasable layer, so there is no need to form a releasant layer coated with a releasant.
