Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the leak of more than unnecessary amounts of ink flowing along a wire by a method in which the wire whose tip portion is provided with a staged portion is encased in a housing and an ink-impregnated material is directed from an ink-housed portion provided inside the housing to each wire. CONSTITUTION:A housing 2 is provided in the front of a wire impact type printing head 1, a tip guide 3 with a hole 6 to keep the tips of each wire slidable is provided at the tip of the housing 2, and an ink-impregnated material 5 is provided inside the tip guide 3 to supply ink to the tip of the wire 8. In such a printing head, a tiered portion is provided to the printing wire 8 inside the housing 2, an ink-housing portion 15 is provided in the inside lower part of the housing 2, and the lower end of the ink-impregnated material 5 is inserted into the ink-housing portion 15. The ink-housing portion 15 is covered with a shield plate 14 at its upside and its tip portion is shaped into a form inclined downwards toward the ink-impregnated material 5.

Traditionally this glaze print head is %-I852-58617
No. 53-33721 and % Sho 53-33721 are known, but in these, when the printing wire is operated, the ink attached to the tip of the wire runs along the surface of the wire when sliding and is removed from the print head. There are drawbacks such as leakage to the surrounding area and contamination, or leakage to the solenoid wire drive section and drying, causing wire malfunction. This invention can eliminate the drawbacks of the above-mentioned conventional methods. The present invention will be explained with reference to embodiments shown in the drawings.0 Figure 1 is an overall plan view of an ink-type wire printer of the present invention, and a portion of the second kFi print head. Part omitted 1WITllll
In both figures, 1 is a print head, and the print head 1 has a square housing 2 with an open top at the front, and a front wall 3 of the housing 2 has a wear-resistant structure. A fi
An ink-impregnated member S having a T-face shape is fixed to the front wall 3 of the housing 2 having the tip guide 4 and the corresponding portions of the ink-impregnated member 5, respectively. The printing wire inside the O/1 housing 2 is provided with a plurality of vertical dot holes 6 and wire insertion holes 1, and the tip of the printing wire 8 is slidably held in the dot holes 6. 8 has a stepped part 9 that makes the tip end thinner,
In addition, the rear end side is thick, making it suitable for cases where the pixel diameter needs to be reduced, such as when outputting kanji characters, with a thinner tip side, and the thick rear end side prevents the solenoid from breaking during operation. The thick rear end of the printing wire 8 is guided to a guide nozzle lO, and is connected to an armature (not shown) that is attracted by the operation of the solenoid 11. . Therefore, the printing wire SI/i is moved forward by the suction of the armature, and an impact dot is made on the printing paper 13 placed on the platen 12 with the thin tip end face to which ink is adhered.

Below the printing wire 8 in the housing 2, an ink accommodating portion 15 whose upper part is stacked by a closing plate 14 is arranged with the lower end of the ink impregnating member 5 inserted. It is formed with a downward slope from a slightly rear position than the part corresponding to @9, and its tip S is connected to the ink-impregnated member 5.
This invention is as described above, and when driving the printer, the ink storage section 15 has a sealed structure.
The ink with an ink absorption volume of 15% is absorbed by the ink-impregnated member 5 by a capillary dust particle and is supplied to the tip of the printing wire 8, and further along the surface of this wire to the tip surface.
When the solenoid 11 is driven by the dot signal, the selected wire 8 moves forward guided by the guide nozzle lO and makes an impact dot on the printing paper 13 on the platen 12. As a result, excess ink remaining on the sliding surface of the tip of the wire 8 is discharged backwards while traveling along the wire surface, but this discharged ink is accumulated in the stepped portion 9 and is sent to the armpit of the guide behind this point. It does not flow into the IO or the wire drive section.

When the ink that has accumulated on the stepped portion 9 of the wire 8 accumulates to some extent, it is swung out as the wire is operated and falls onto the downwardly inclined slope of the closing plate 14.

The invention is configured as described above so that the excess ink that flows along the inclined surface and is absorbed by the ink impregnating member 5 is discharged backward along the surface of the wire when the printing wire is activated. It is possible to reliably store the ink in the 9-stage part and prevent it from flowing into the 9-year drive part, thus completely preventing the malfunction of the wire like in the past. The ink is dropped onto a closing plate, and the ink is absorbed by the ink-impregnated member using the downwardly sloping part of the closing plate, making it possible to reuse the ink. Moreover, the structure is simple and the product is manufactured at low cost. It has an excellent effect that can be used.
