Claims

In a front wheel drive device configured to transmit the output of a differential device of a front wheel drive system to the front wheels via an inner axle shaft, a constant velocity joint, and an outer axle shaft, an enlarged portion is provided on the inner axle shaft. The outer sleeve of the constant velocity joint is rotatably supported inside a hollow spindle provided inside the hub reduction case, and the spline provided on the outer sleeve is configured to be supported on the differential gear side. A similar spline is fitted to the end of the outer axle shaft, a gear of the reduction mechanism is fitted to the spline provided at the other end of this shaft, and the end of this shaft on the gear side is brought into contact with the thrust washer. Then, attach a snap 1y to the part that supports the outer sleeve on the constant velocity joint side of the shaft.
