Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は電気絶縁性の管継手に関するものである０ 鋼管を主とする配管系において迷走電流による腐食を防
止するためには、配管の一部に電気絶縁形の管継手を用
いることが有効である。
しかし都市ガス配管における屋内配管の場合には、単に
ゴムやプラスチック等の可燃性の絶縁部材を組み込んだ
管継手を用いると、万一火災が発生した時絶縁部材が焼
損して管継手が分解し、ガスが外部に噴出して二次災害
を惹起する恐れがある。また土中埋設配管や水道配管の
場合には、面接続部材の内外表面に付着した水分を介し
て電流が上記両部材間に伝わるジャンピングを生じるこ
とがあり、内外表面に別の絶縁部材を核種する必要があ
る。特に水道配管の場合は、絶縁部材および絶縁部材を
組み込む際の接着剤について、水質への影響を充分に考
慮し悪影響のないものを使用しなければならない。
本発明は、上記した欠点のない電気絶縁性の管継手を提
供することを目的とするものであり、端部に管接続機構
をもつ内筒管の内筒部と外筒管の外筒部の間に０．１〜
４酩の適当な隙間を設けて、この隙間部にガラス状物質
を充填焼成し、内筒管と外筒管を固着してなる電気絶縁
性の管継手である０ 次に実施例について図面を診照して説明する（。
第１図は本発明の一実施例を示すもので、内筒管１の内
筒部２は外筒管３の外筒部４内に挿入されており、内筒
部２の外表面゛５と外筒部４の内表面６は、接着面積を
広くするため凸凹をもった形状にしである。そして外周
面５と内周面６との隙間部にはガラス状物質７が充填さ
れている。このガラス状物質７は継手の内面８および外
面９にも、継手の機能上差しつかえない範囲で被檀した
方が絶縁性能が良好である。上記隙間部と継手の内外面
とに被接したガラス状物質は、その糧類によって所定の
温度で焼成し、内筒管１と外筒管２とを固着する。また
内筒管１の端部および外筒管３の端部には、管用めねじ
１０．１１が刻設されており、鋼管と接続するようにな
っている。
第２図は別の実施例を示すもので、内筒管１は端部に管
用テーパおねじ１３を刻設した鋼管を用いている。また
外筒管３の外筒部１５の内表面１６は、内筒管１の外表
面１７と均一な隙間を保つように平行円筒状にしである
。
以上説明したように、本発明による電気絶縁性の管継手
は、都市ガス配管に使用した場合の火災時の安全性が高
く、土中埋設配管や水道配管の場合には水分を介して電
気が伝わるジャンピングを防止することができる。さら
に水道配管に使用する場合の承句への悪影響を防止する
ことができるなど実用上効果の大きいものである。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 端部に管接続機構をもつ内筒管の内筒部と外筒管の外筒
    部の間に０．１〜４　ｇｍの隙間を設けて、この隙間に
    ガラス状物質を充填し焼成したことを特徴とする管継手
    。
