Abstract

PURPOSE:To join a mounting seat exactly to a frame body in a short time with less distortion, by forming a groove for positioning on the frame body, inserting the projection of the mounting seat and subjecting both to projection welding. CONSTITUTION:A groove 15 of about 3mm. depth is worked with a punch in the prescribed position of a frame body 1. The projection 13b of a mounting seat 13 is inserted into the groove 15, and a movable electrode 14a is pressed onto the seat 13 from the top surface thereof, then electricity is conducted thereto to join the seat 13 to the frame body by projection welding. The seat 13 can be set exactly in the prescribed position by such method. Since the seat is welded with a resistance welding machine, the working efficiency and the quality of the joined part are improved with less generation of distortion.
