Industrial televisions display plant conditions directly as images, and are suitable for monitoring the occurrence of fires and people entering buildings. However, it was necessary to introduce industrial instruments to monitor temperature, gate opening, water level, etc., which require comprehensive monitoring, as accurate judgments cannot be made from images alone.

It is also possible to display the results of scientific and technological calculations and predictive calculations on the screen. However, even with such a functional CRT display, it is difficult to detect the amount due to restrictions such as sensors, and industrial televisions are required in places where it is necessary to directly grasp the amount visually.

For example, in the case of a display device for a navigator that displays data on a map, map elements need to be able to be changed each time f, L<, it is sufficient to be able to display as many fixed screens as necessary, and high resolution is required. is required. Slides are suitable for displaying such fixed element parts.

For example, it has been considered to electrically combine an industrial television and a CRT display on a common screen. In this case, if the video frequencies are the same, a converter is not required, but if the frequencies are different, a scan converter is required, and the L7 image is adjusted to the one with the lower resolution. In general, recent CRTs have higher resolution and the image frequency is higher than that of industrial televisions, but by overlapping images, the resolution of the CRT decreases and the original performance cannot be achieved.

FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the configuration of a superposition device for projection type displays according to the present invention. In the figure, the plant configuration of the example to be monitored is such that water from a water intake well 1 is sucked up by a pump 3 to which a discharge valve 4 is connected. This system detects and monitors such plants.

In the figure, reference numeral 61 denotes an input section, to which a water level signal from the water level meter 2, an operation, stop or failure signal for the pump 3, an opening/closing signal for the discharge valve 4, and a flow rate signal from the flow meter 5 are applied. Among these signals, those input as analog signals are converted to digital signals here. A storage unit 63 stores image data and data necessary for determining the state of the plant. A signal processing section 62 compares the signal from the input section 61 with the data in the storage section 63, and extracts and processes image data as necessary. 64 is C)tT controller, which is a signal processing unit 62

Displays the subject to be monitored and outputs a video signal. Reference numeral 8 denotes a projection display device, which includes an image projection device for projecting CRT images, such as a projector 82, an image projection device for projecting industrial television images, such as a projector 83, and a screen 81 for projecting these images. It consists of Reference numeral 81 denotes a semi-transparent screen made of vinyl chloride or the like, which displays an image transmitted from the rear side by a projector 83, and at the same time displays an image projected from the front by a projector 82 in a superimposed manner.

First, the state of the plant is input to the input section 61 of the CRT display device 60 in the form of an analog or digital signal. These various signals are processed by the CRT display device 6 and then sent from the CRT controller 64 to the
, B signal is output. Figure 2 shows the state of the pump 3, the opening degree of the discharge valve 4, the water level of the water level gauge 2, and the flow rate of the flow meter 5.
1 (This is an example of a case where each character is displayed by the T projector 82. Generally, a color display is used to graphically display the status of equipment or equipment using symbols, patterns, trends, etc. are R, G, and B systems.More recently, display devices have become higher in resolution, and displays with 4,000 characters or 7,000 characters have appeared.Figure 3 shows the situation of a plant taken with an industrial television camera 7. This is an example of a case where something is displayed on an industrial television projector 83, which is generally sent as an NTSCIQ image signal of the video signal. A screen 81 on which this industrial television image is projected is projected by a projector 83 for industrial television.
On the other hand, when the CRT graphic screen shown in FIG. 2 is projected from the front by the CRT projector 82, superimposed images are projected on the screen 81 as shown in FIG. Since the images from the CRT and the industrial television are optically superimposed and displayed in this way, there is no possibility that the signal levels will be made equal to each other, or that the quality of the image will deteriorate due to the unification of the signal levels.

能となる。The present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, but may be implemented as follows, for example. The embodiment shown in FIG.
T projector 82 and industrial TV projector 8
3 are both placed on the back side of the screen 81 to constitute the display overlapping device 8. Also CR
Since a T projector is inferior to a CRT monitor in terms of brightness and resolution, instead of using a CRT projector 82, a CRT monitor 85 is used as an image projection device, as shown in FIG. A screen 81 may also be provided. Similarly, a sliding projector 8 is used instead of the industrial television projector 83.
6 may be used. In this case, for example, trajectory data processed by a computer is displayed on a CRT monitor 85, and a slide projector 86 is displayed on a screen 81 arranged in front of the CRT monitor 85.
By projecting a world map from a satellite, it is possible to obtain a display image that shows the flight trajectory of an artificial satellite on the world map.

を格段に向上させることができる。Overall Effect As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, by optically superimposing multiple image data on the screen without converting them to the same level electrically, the deterioration of each display function can be reduced. Since they mutually compensate for each other's shortcomings without causing any damage, when used for plant monitoring, etc., it is possible to closely monitor the plant, quickly and accurately, and the monitoring function can be significantly improved.
