Conventionally, this type of pressure welding type socket contact usually has a pin contact insertion guide mechanism made of an insulating material, or a socket contact made of multiple divided flange pieces, resulting in a complex structure and time-consuming manufacturing process. There were disadvantages such as high cost.

According to the manufacturing method of the present invention, it is sufficient to simply perform the necessary processing on a single band-shaped metal plate and simply bend it, so there is little loss of material, and the structure is extremely simple and easy to assemble. It is extremely inexpensive because it does not require the insulating material of the guide mechanism that is normally used, and the pin contact passes through the guide hole and is pressed by the left and right contact spring parts, increasing contact reliability. When press-fitted, the coating is naturally removed and electrical connection is automatically established, which has the advantage of significantly improving work efficiency.
