Abstract

PURPOSE:To almost completely discharge water in a live well only with a scupper, by providing a keel floor used as the bottom plate of the live well to the ship inside of a keel and the drain scuppers to a ship bottom plate in the vicinity of the keel floor. CONSTITUTION:A keel floor 4 is provided to the ship inside of a keel 3 to form the bottom plate of a live well 10. Then drain scuppers 7 and suction water scuppers 8 are provided to a ship bottom plate 2, and the scupper 7 is formed to a position approximate to the floor 4 of the plate 2 while the floor 4 in the part formed with said scupper 7 is locally recessed to form recessed parts 9. In this way, the scupper 7 is opened to the lowest position in the well 10.

を設けたものでは、生簀内の水の出入用のスカッパを生
簀内船底に設けている。LかLながら従来の構造では排
水用のスカッパも生簀内底部の最も低い位置には設置し
ていないために生簀内の水をスカッパのみによっては完
全に排出することはできない。生簀内底部の最も低い位
置はキールになるが、ここには強度その他の点でスカッ
パを設けることができず、またキール近傍の両側部も船
底板の曲率が大きいためにここにもスカッパは設置する
ことかできず、従ってスカッパの設置位置は生簀底部の
かなり高い位置になる。
