[Prior Art] Air boats are widely used for work such as life rafts for marine rescue, painting and repairing ship hulls, and for leisure purposes. This type of air boat consists of a tube shaped like the hull and a bottom sheet stretched between the bottoms of the tubes.A transom plate is attached between the rear ends of the tubes.
A bow cover in the shape of a curved flat plate is attached to the tube at the bow, either by adhesive or removably, for the purpose of keeping out water.

[Problems to be solved by the invention] Therefore, when using an air boat as a work boat, it becomes necessary to board the boat from any part of the boat and work on it. The bow cover attached to the bow of the ship was designed solely to protect against water during navigation, and was not strong enough to withstand the weight of a human body. Another problem is that when the tube is severely deformed due to a violent collision between the ship's hull or its sides being pinched, the deformation is directly transmitted and the cover is damaged.

[Means for solving the problem] This proposal is based on a bow cover that is attached to the bow of an air boat. It consists of a combination of an end plate that covers the back, a flat part on the upper surface of the upper shell that serves as a deck for the hull, and a fixed section on both sides from the tip of the tube that models the external shape of the air boat on the lower surface of the lower shell. This bow cover for an air boat is characterized by having a concave groove that receives the upper circumferential surface of the bow cover.

By pressurizing air into the tube 2, the tube swells into a circular shape and becomes a float. 5 is the bow cover of the present invention, which is detachably attached to the tube 2 at the bow of the air boat body 1 using metal fittings, strings, etc. As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the bow cover 5 is made up of an upper shell 6 and a lower shell 7 shaped into the planar shape of the bow of the ship, and an end plate 8 mounted across the upper and lower shells 6 and 7. It is what it is. The upper shell 6 and the lower shell 7 are curved upward and downward, respectively, and the upper shell 6 and the lower shell 7 are overlapped and their edges are sealed from the bow to both sides, and there is a gap between the upper and lower shells 6 and 7. The back surface of the formed space (the surface facing inside the ship) is covered with the end plate 8, and the space between the upper and lower shells 6 and 7 is further reinforced with appropriate ribs 9, thereby forming a hollow body as a whole.

The upper surface of the upper shell 6 is provided with a flat part 10 in a certain range, particularly in the center, which serves as the deck of the hull, and the lower surface of the lower shell 7 is provided with a flat part 10 that forms the bow of the air boat, extending from the top of the tube 2 to both sides. A concave groove 11 is provided along the shape of the peripheral surface, and the end plate 8 is raised upwardly from the upper surface of the upper shell 6 to form a water shield 12. A storage compartment 13 can be provided on this end plate 8 using a part thereof, similar to a dart board of an automobile or a motor boat. Note that the bow cover 5 of the present invention is not limited to being formed into a hollow body by assembling the upper shell 6, the lower shell 7, and the end plate 8, but may of course be formed by integral molding using a synthetic resin material or the like. can. It is preferable that the flat part 10 used for the deck is provided with an uneven pattern 14 to prevent slipping.

In the example, the bow cover 5 of the present invention is air-filled.
It is mounted on the bow part of the boat body 1, the tube 2 is fitted into the concave groove 11, the ear part 15 provided on the tube 2 is passed through the locking hole 16 of the lower shell 7, and a stopper such as a metal fitting and a string is attached. 17 to fix the bow cover 5 on the tube 2. This bow cover 5 has an upper shell 6 and a rising part of the end plate 8, and functions as a water barrier, and the deck serves as a foothold when getting on and off or during work. Maintains the hull in a stable shape. In particular, since the load from above is dispersed to the tube 2 at the bow, there is no local strain on the cover or tube, it can withstand a relatively large load, and work can be carried out stably using the deck as a foothold.
