製ケーブルドラムの横断面概略端面図であり、第2図は
第1図におけるOFケーブル巻始端固定部縦断面概略端
面図であり、第1図、第2図において同一部分は同一符
号にて示されている。第1図、第2図において、lはO
Fケーブルで、2はドラム胴8の内側に固定された圧力
油タンクである。8はOFケーブルの巻始端部で、この
巻始端部8は、一端は鉄製ドラムΣの鍔板7の内側面に
、他端はドラム胴8の外周面に固着して終端はドラム胴
8の外周面に固着して形成された棚板9上に載置されて
、該棚板9上においてUバンド6・・・にて把持され、
該Uバンド両脚部先端にそれぞれ固着されたボルト部を
鍔板7に穿設された貫通孔10,10に鍔板7の内側か
ら外側に突出すよう挿入し、突出したボルト部にナツト
11,11を螺挿して締付け、把持されたケーブル巻始
端部8を鍔板7の内側面に固定していた。一方圧力演タ
ンク2とOFケーブルの巻始端部8の端末とは鋼管又は
鉛管4にて連通ずるよう接続されているのが一般である
。鉄製ドラムyのドラム胴8に所要長のOFケーブルl
を巻取って該ドラム互を目的地に運搬し、例えば地下マ
ンホール等えOFケーブルlを布設する場合は該ケーブ
ル1を鉄製ドラム旦に巻取る場合と異なり連続的にドラ
ム胴8を回転してケーブル布設を行うことはあり得す、
ケーブル胴8の起動、停止を繰返してケーブルlを布設
するのが一般であ呑。この場合ケーブル胴8の起動、停
止のショックによりケーブル巻始端部8は第1図に二点
鎖線で示す8′のように棚板9から突出する傾向があり
、そのため圧力油タンク2とケーブル巻始端部3の端末
とを連通接続する鋼管又は鉛管4が破断してOFケーブ
ルが損傷を受ける場合があるが、これ等の事故は値上の
構成によるケーブル巻始端部3の固定方法により防止さ
れる。しかしながら値上のケーブル巻始端部8の固定方
法においては鍔板7への加工及びUバンド6自体の製作
ならびにUバンド6の取付作業が面倒であり、そのため

射状に波形が形成されている。この波形の凸部内側に両
端をそれぞれ鍔部内側に固着した丸棒12が適宜のピッ
チで第3図に示すごとく鍔板7の円周に沿い配設されて
いる。一方策1図、第2図にて示された棚板9と同様の
棚板9の上にケーブル巻始端部3を載置し、該巻始端部
8を二本の麻ローブ13.13′等の紐の一端にてそれ
ぞれ固縛し、該麻ロープ18.13’をケーブルドラム
のケーブル巻取方向と送出し方向すなわちケーブルドラ
ムの前後方向に引張し他端を前記ケーブル固縛部の前後
に、配設された丸棒12.12に固縛し、ケーブル巻始
端部8を前後に引張った状態で棚板9上に載置し丸棒1
2を介して前記麻ロープ13.18’を鍔板7に固着せ

擦力により該巻始端部を固定する場合よりも確実にケー
