Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a cost to manufacture and to prevent the condensation of dew and the occurrence of water leakage due to an imperfect heat insulation of a drain discharge pipe, by a method wherein drain is pulverized by an ultrasonic oscillator mounted to a bottom part of a drain pan located at the lower part of a machine body to discharge it togetherwith exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:A machine body 1 incorporates a heat exchanger 2 and a blower 3, a drain pan 5 is installed to the lower part of the machine body 1, and an ultrasonic oscillator 8 is mounted to the bottom part of the drain pan 5. Duct box 9 is positioned so that it is connected to the drain pan 5 and is open to an outer wall 11. An exhaust fan is situated in the opening of the duct box 9. Drain 4 produced in the heat exchanger 2 is collected in the drain pan 5, and the collected drain 4 is pulverized by the ultrasonic oscillator 8 to form particles 12.
