Abstract

PURPOSE:To foreknow a starting direction and avoid a hazard,by providing a direction indicator plate driven by rotation of a supporting shaft through a gravity detector plate movably fitted to the point end supporting shaft of a steer ing shaft and a transmission wheel mounted to a prescribed position of the gravity detector plate. CONSTITUTION:A steering wheel 1 is operated to also rotate a supporting shaft 3 secured to a point end part 10a of a shaft 10, here a gravity detector plate 4 movably fitted to a shaft part 3b holds an initial attitude by weight of a balancer 4a. Then a transmission wheel 5 supported by a bearing to the plate 4 and engaged to a pinion 3d of the shaft 3 rotates a direction indicator plate 6 through a gear 6b in the same directon to rotation of the steering handle 1 so as to align to the direction of a tire. This rotary angle can be read by the scale of a transparent resin case 9. 向と一致させた、即ち、ステアリングホイールの回転と
タイヤの方向回転の回転比率と同一回転比率で駆動され
るタイヤの方向指示板を、当該方向指示板とステアリン
グシャフト間に伝単を介して構成した自動車のタイヤ方
向表示装置に関するものである。

4は、′前記支軸3の軸部3bへ遊嵌されており、しか
して常に重力方向に指向された所定の姿勢を保持して静
止しているものである。即ち、ステアリングホイール1
を所望する任意の方向へ回転してステアリングシャツ)

施例の如く、略円板状をなし、中央部には、軸受部6a
を形成し、前記支軸3の軸部3cへ回動自在に遊嵌され
