速機の変速操作機構において、前記変速レバーの側壁に
V字形の切欠を設けるとともに、前記切欠と反対側の側
壁面と所定の変速段側の側壁面との角隅部をカットして
傾斜面を設け、変速機のケース壁部に先端が前記所定の
変速段と後進段との切換えを行うシフトブロックの上方
へ突出するようにばねによって付勢され、かつ外力によ
って前記シフトブロックの上方から側方へ引退可能のガ
イドロッドを軸支持し、前記ガイドロッドが前記所定の
変速段から中立位置へのシフト操作に対して前記切欠に
係合し、かつ前記変速レバーの中立位置への戻し方向と
セレクト方向の組合せ操作によって外れるように構成し
