【発明の詳細な説明】 (発明の目的) 本発明はローラー型ベニヤドライヤーによシ乾燥されて
繊維方向に搬出されて来る単板を対象にして、その#A
板の裏面に残存し易°い高含水率部分を反転することに
よって確実に検知し乍らこれを横はぎ機に供給する以前
に作業員が選別排除して横はぎ製品に高含水率単板が混
入しないようにしたローラー型ベニヤドライヤーを用い
た合板製造工程における単板処理の新方式の確立を目的
としたものであって、この種従来方式のものには、例え
ば特公昭50−21527号合板製造工程における単板
の処理方法および装置や特公昭55−45002号合板
用単板の製造における高含水率#AFfi、の選別方法
およびその装置などがあるが、前者はローラー型ベニヤ
ドライヤーによシ乾燥されて繊維方向に搬出されて来る
単板を、その搬出部の前方位置において搬出方向の直交
方向に転送し乍ら1頃次に上方または下方へ反転させて
裏返しの状態で搬送して該単板の切断、槓はぎ、堆積の
諸動作を集約的且つ自動的に行うようにした合板製造工
程における単板の処理方法および装置であって、その上
方または下方へ単板を反転させて裏返しの状態で搬送す
ることは専ら狭いスペースを白゛効に利用して実施する
ことだけに意義がちったものであり、従ってこの種のロ
ーラー型ベニ六′ドライヤーによる単板の乾燥が炉内の
緩慢な曲風や切削時の裏割れのため上面が乾きらい等の
特性のためその下面に高含水率部分が残存し鳩いことか
らこれを検知するために@記の反転搬送を実施していた
ものではなかったのである。

ーラー型ベニヤドライヤー1の搬出部を構成する集結コ
ンベア6の前方上段にその搬出方向に直交して単板2を
転送する搬入コンベア4を設けたことと、前記搬入コン
ベア4の搬送先端部に一旦単板2を上方へ反転して水平
に搬送した後にその搬送先端部で再び下方へ反転する左
右対称的な一連の反転コンベア5を設けたことと、前記
反転コンベア5の水平部に単板2の上面に接触してその
水分を検知する水分計6を設けたことと、OjI記反転
コンベア5から受渡される単FJi2を前記ベニヤドラ
イヤー1の搬出部を構成する集結コンベア6の前方下段
に設置した横はぎ機9に転送する搬出コンベア10を設
けたことと、前記搬出コンベア10上に管理値を越えた
水分を含有する単板の上面に識別マークを塗着するスプ
レー8を設けたことと、前記スプレー8を水分計6の管
理値を越える検知信号により単板の搬送速度に同期して
発動する記憶装置7を設けた合板製造工程における単板
の処理装置である。

の搬送状態に戻った搬出コンベア10上で電磁弁を装着
したスプレー8に前記記憶の検知信号が再生されてこれ
を発動し、直下を搬送される単板の上面にインる選別排
除が可能になるように構成されているものである。

事態を完全に廻避することが出来るものであり、且つま
たそのスペースも反転コンベア5による2回の反転でこ
れをローラー型ベニヤドライヤー1の搬出部前方の最少
平面だけの占有に留め得る等の優れた実施効果を奏し得
るものである。
