Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid troublesome response to wrong telephone calls, by ringing a telephone bell only for a correct response signal from a caller. CONSTITUTION:When a transmission signal from a calling telephone set 8 enters a transmission and reception circuit 1, the output is introduced to an uttering circuit 2 via a control circuit 4 of a called telephone confirming device 17. Then, the circuit 2 utters the telephone number or the name of company for confirmation whether or not the call is correct.
