第１図〜第４図は従来の光学式コード読取り装置を説明
するためのものであって、第１図はこの装置の断面図、
第２図は発光ペレットの平面図、第３図はバー・コード
上に形成されるスポットを示す概略斜視図、第４図Ａ及
びＢはバーとスポットとの関係を示す概略平面図及び反
射応答性のグラフをそれぞれ示す説明図である。第５図
及び第６図は本考案の実施例を説明するためのものであ
って、第５図Ａ及びＢは第４図と同様の説明図、第６図
は発光ペレットの平面図である。 なお図面に用いられている符号において、１・・・・・
・光学式コード読取り装置、５・・・・・・投射光線、
６・・・・・・バー・コード、７・・・・・・反射光線
、１０・・・・・・反射率の小さい黒色のバー、１１・
・・・・・反射率の大きい白色のバー、１４・・・・・
・楕円形状のスポットであ　′る。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 反射率が互いに異なる線状領域を交互に平行状に配列し
    て成るコードに光線を投射してスポットを形成し、この
    スポットを前記線状領域の配列方向に移動させた際の反
    射光線の光量変化に基いて前記コードを読取るようにし
    た光学式コード読取り装置において、前記スポットの形
    状が楕円形状となるように構成したことを特徴とする光
    学式コード読取り装置。
