Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the overall size of a timepiece by positioning the timepiece hand fitting shaft of a timepiece movement nearly in the center of the circumscribed circle of the timepiece movement with timepiece parts. CONSTITUTION:The timepiece hand fitting shaft 4 of the timepiece movement 1 is made eccentric from the center of the timepiece movement 1 to position the timepiece movement 1 in the center O2 of the circumscribed circle of the timepiece movement 1 with batteries 2. Consequently, a dial 8 is made less in diameter than when the timepiece hand fitting shaft is provided in the center of the timepiece movement as usual, thereby reducing the overall size of the timepiece.
