Abstract

PURPOSE: To unnecesitate circulation air and conserve energy of the air conditioner by communicating an indoor unit in a living quarters in a vessel with a blower unit by means of an air duct, and connecting heat load absorbing means of both units to both units.
CONSTITUTION: A low-temperature and high-pressure coolant produced by a freezer 38 and a compresser 39 cools fresh water within a cool water-chiller unit 37. This fresh water is supplied to a cooler-heater 22 and an indoor unit 28 with a blower unit 20 as shown by arrow by means of a pump 34 to absorb thermal loads, and the returns to the cool water-chiller unit 37 to decrease the blowing temperature. Further, for heating, fresh water heated by water within a hot water unit 42 is supplied to a blower 21 and an indoor unit 28 to obtain warm air. With this construction, energy conservation in air conditioning for living quarters on boad can be realized.
