Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable conversion of a light of short wavelength to that of long wavelength adapted for the absorption of a solar battery by dissolving vat dye series pigment having 450-800nm of the longest light emitting wavelength region in transparent platic, thereby improving the weather resistance. CONSTITUTION:Organic fluorescent substance such as anthraquinone series, thioindigo series or perinone series is dissolved in a transparent plastic having approx. 9 or higher dissolving parameter in density of range of 0.001-1wt% to form a wavelength converting light condensing light emitting unit having a shape such as sheet shape, film shape, bar shape or pipe shape capable of reflecting most of the light emitted from the substanc and more than ten times of the light absorbing area to the light emitting area. The light emitting surface of the substance is optically connected to a solar battery.
