PURPOSE:To obtain a color photographic sensitive material having high color developing density and sensitivity, causing no fog and stain, and undergoing no desensitization during storage by adding a precursor of a specified aromatic primary amine as a color developing agent. CONSTITUTION:To the inside of a photographic sensitive silver halide material is added a reaction product of a water soluble multivalent metallic salt represented by formulaI(where M<+> is a multivalent metal such as Cd or Zn, (m) is 2 or 3, (p) is 1 or 1, X<-> is halogen or an acid anion such as CH3COO, ClO3, NO3 or SO4, and (n) is 1 or 2) with an aromatic primary amine represented by formula II[where each of R1 and R2 is 1-5C (substituted) alkyl, R1 and R2 may bond to each other to form an N-contg. satd. heterocyclic ring, and each of R3-R6 is H, halogen, 1-3C (substituted) alkyl, alkoxy or carbamoyl]as a color developing agent and a water soluble sulfite.
