Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve measurement precision by detecting the ending of reaction easily and accurately by storing the output data of a sensor and by detecting the ending point of reaction by using differences between new and old succeeding data. CONSTITUTION:The reaction current of a glucose sensor is processed by A/D conversion 22 and the result is supplied to a CPU. The CPU samples the input data at prescribed intervals of time and stores data at each point of time in a prescribed area DR of an RAM. At this time, the CPU calculates mean values of groups of new data D1-D3, and old data D4-D6 to find differences between respective mean values and, when the difference decreases below a prescribed value, detects the ending of reaction. Then, the point where up-to-date data D1 is obtained is regarded as the ending point of the reaction.
