Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform quick and accurate analysis through a simple device, by simultaneously processing the output of a temperature detector provided in a vapor- liquid equilibrium cell and the output of a gas chromatograph by an electronic computer to determine the concentration of chlorine dioxide.
CONSTITUTION: The output signal of a detector of a gas chromatograph 9 is applied to an A-D converter 10 so that the signal is converted into a digital one. The digital signal is entered into an electronic computer 1. The output signal of a temperature detector 1 attached to a vapor-liquid equilibrium cell is applied to another A-D converter 12 so that the signal is changed into a digital one. The digital signal is entered into the electronic computer 11. The computer calculates the concentration of chlorine dioxide on the basis of both the digital signals.
