Abstract

PURPOSE: To conduct blast cleaning efficiently by a method wherein a rotary drum is positioned with its charge-discharge port directed slantedly upwards, a recess is formed in the interior of the drum, and shots are blasted while collectively accumulating the works in the recess.
CONSTITUTION: The lower end A of the charge-discharge port 10 of the rotary drum 12 and an intermediate stage B on a closing member side are disposed on the same horizontal line, and the recess is formed in the form of an inverted triangle the base of which accords with the line connecting the upper end A and the intermediate stage B.
