Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce air resistance by deviating an air flow to be generated at a time of travelling to the upper part and the right and left of a cargo body by a method wherein three air passage of a special construction are provided on the loof of a cab of a truck which is provided with a large cargo body on its loading platform. CONSTITUTION:Warped upper and lower aerofoil shape plates 4 and 5 are provided, approx. in parallel with each other, with their rear ends rising and placing a necessary space between them, on a front center of a roof 3 of a cab 1 of a truck which is provided with a large cargo body 2 on a loading platform, and on both sides of the above plates 4 and 5 are provided with inside aerofiol shape plates 6 and 7. Outside aerofoil shape plates 8 and 9 having a streamline cross section are provided on both sides of the front of a roof 3 of the cab 1. A central air passage 12 is formed by the upper and the lower aerofoil shape plates 4 and 5 located at the center of the roof 3 and the inside aerofoil shape plates 6 and 7, and further air passages 13 and 14 are formed by aerofoil shape plates 6 and 8, aerofoil shape plates 7 and 9, the top plate 11 and the roof 3.
