Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of the waveform distortion to the terminal voltage of a generator by sampling simultaneously two sets of line voltages for noncommutation period and comparing the peak value of the line voltage calculated from the sampled voltages with a target reference voltage value. CONSTITUTION:Line voltages Vab, Vbc, Vca are converted to OK signals becoming ''1'' level during the period of noncommutation via full-wave rectifying circuits 101- 103, waveform shaping circuits 111-113 and an AND gate 120. Sampling pulse SP is outputted under the AND conditions of the OK signal and the clock pulse XP1. An arithmetic circuit 170 calculates the peak value Xab of the line voltage from the line voltages Vab, Vbc sampled by the sampling pulse PS. This peak value Xab is compared with a target reference voltage value Vmo via a smoothing circuit 180.
