Abstract

CONSTITUTION: (A) An aromatic polyester having terminal carboxyl group is compounded with (B) a bis(cyclic iminoether) compound of formula (X1 and X2 are bivalent hydrocarbon group having 2 or 3 ring carbon atoms forming iminoether ring and non-reactive under the reaction conditions; R1 and R2 are H or univalent hydrocarbon group, or R1 and R2 together with two N and D form a 5- or 6-membered ring; D is bivalent hydrocarbon group non-reactive under the reaction conditions and optionally containing a hetero atom; n is 0 or 1), e.g. 2, 2'-bis(2-oxazoline), and the mixture is molten and extruded. The amount of the additive is 0.001W5wt% of the polyester.
