Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having excellent wet-skid resistance and low rolling resistance and useful as a raw material of automobile tire, without increasing the dynamic heat generation, by mixing two kinds of conjugated diene polymers having different glass transition temperature.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by mixing (A) an amorphous conjugated diene polymer having a glass transition temperature of -60W -20°C and a Mooney viscosity of 20W120 (MΔ, 1+4, 121°C) with (B) an amorphous conjugated diene polymer having a glass transition temperature of -90W -40°C and a Mooney viscosity of 20W120, wherein the difference between the glass transition temperatures of the components is ≥20°C. The weighted arithmetic average of the glass transition temperatures of both components is ≥-50°C. For example, a mixture having a transition temperature of -43.0°C can be obtained by mixing 67pts.wt. of a polymer having a transition temperature of -33.4°C with 33pts.wt. of a polymer having a transition temperature of -62.4°C.
