Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to generate a large torque using a small-sized device by a method wherein a number of slits are perforated in the direction intersecting with the rotating direction on the rotating disc consisted of a good conductor in such a manner that these slits are crossing the gap of a magnetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic circuit section 10 is installed on the driving shaft 8 of the motor 6 which was mounted on a base stand. A number of permanent magnets 11 are fixed on an annular terminal section 101 located on the center side of the nearly U-shaped magnetic circuit section 10, and a magnet-passing gap 12 is formed in between the annular terminal section and an annular opposing section 102 which is opposing to the annular terminal section 101. A rotating disc 13 is fixed on the rotating shaft 14 which is rotatably supported on a non- illustrated supporting stand, and positioned in the magnetic gap 12. The rotating disc 13 is formed by lamainating a thin unit disc 131 of good conductor through the intermediary of an insulating material. On each unit disc 131, a number of slits 15 are perforated, and the unit disc are laminated in such a manner that the phase of the slit 15 on each unit disc 131 is shifted.
