Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric type speaker in which sufficient sound pressure can be obtained to the entire audio band, by fitting a piezoelectric vibration diaphragm plate to a diaphragm film stretched at the frame and extending the frequency characteristics to low frequency region through the pressing of the center of this diaphragm plate. CONSTITUTION:On one side of a frame 10 constituted as ring shape,a vibration diaphragm film 11 made of polyethylene resin film or metallic foil is sticked under tension. At almost the center the film 11 of the frame 10 side, a piezoelectric vibration diaphragm plate 12 is sticked with an adhesive, and this diaphragm plate 12 is taken as the composite consisting of a piezoelectric porcelain plate 12a and a metallic plate 12b, and the metallic plate 12b is bonded to the film 11. A pressing member 13 such as rubber and resin is bonded at almost center on a plate 12a. A plate shape elastic body 14 such as sponge is loaded in the frame 11 and the elastic body 14 is pressed to a rear cover 15 of the frame 10. When the elastic body 14 is pressed, the center part of the film 11 where maximum oscillation is present is pressed, allowing to obtain sufficient sound pressure to low frequency region.
