Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily improve the sound pressure of an arbitrary frequency band by linking a bimorph type sound generator possessing inherent in resonance frequencies so that a cavity may formed between respective generators, and linking them in the case at their peripheral edge so that cavities are formed on both surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A bimorph type sound generator 7 stuck with piezoelectric elements on the both surfaces of a flat diaphragm 4, and two bimorph type sound generators 10 and 11 stuck with the piezoelectric elements on the both surfaces of a dished diaphragm 4 are fixed at the peripheral edge part so that the sound generator 7 may be sandwiched in the condition to internally form cavities 22 and 23, and the composite sound generator is constituted in such a way. A case 21 is provided in the condition in which the composite sound generator is enclosed, and sound emitting holes 18, 19, 6 and 9 are provided at the suitable positions of the both surfaces of the case and of the diaphragm plate. Thus, since the three bimorph type sound generators are combined and used, the sound pressure of the specific band can be remarkably improved.
