Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic receptor having high sensitivity, low remaining potential, and good durability, by adding a specified ketazine type compound to a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge transfer layer contains a compund represented by the formula in which R1-R4 are each alkyl, aralkyl, or aryl, all optionally substituted, or a residue forming a cyclic amino group together with a nitrogen atom. Since this compound itself lacks film-forming ability, it is used together with a proper binder. The electrophotographic receptor thus obtained has high sensitivity, low remaining potential, and good durability.
