Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the precision of the distribution angle of emitted light by improving transmission efficiency by using a couple of hard pulp at both ends of a light guide. CONSTITUTION:A light guide fiber bundle 29 is inserted into hard pipes 20 and 21 and impregnated with an injection sealing material. After the curved groove 24 of a drag 23 is applied with a release agent, the fiber bundle 29 is fitted in the groove and the hard pipes 20 and 21 are fixed at both end parts of the curved groove 24, i.e. an incidence side and an emission side of light. Then, a cope 26 is superposed upon the drag 23 and fixed and the injection sealing material is set. In this state, a part projecting from the drag and cope 23 is cut and the flank is polished. Consequently, the light guide fiber bundle is never sandwiched between the shaping dies and a light guide having high light-quantity transmission efficiency and the high precision of the center angle of light distribution is manufactured.
