Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a reproducing stylus from making a collision sound by short- circuiting the output of a pickup through a transistor when the reproducing stylus comes in contact with a record disk. CONSTITUTION:When a start switch ST is turned on, transistors TR2-TR4 turn on through a rotary switch RSW fixed at an unrecorded part on a record disk, and an electromagnetic actuator 5 sets a pickup at an operation position on the record disk. In this case, until a capacitor C2 is discharged through an R6, a TR6 stays on to keep on short-circuiting the output of the pickup thereby preventing the collision sound of a reproducing stylus from being sent out of a speaker 4. As the record is coming to its end a lead switch MSW is turned on to turn off the TR2- TR4, and then the C2 is charged again to turn on the TR6.
