Abstract

PURPOSE: To act the suction force from a suction pipe over the entre area of a core by providing a branch pipe at the intermediate of the suction pipe to be inserted into the core thereby branching and extending the suction pipe in manufacturing a relatively large core or a core of an intricate shape by a vacuum molding method.
CONSTITUTION: With, for example, a core of a spherical shape, unitized straight pipe type suction pipes which are connected to an axial line by means of screws through a core print 10 of the core consisting of molding sand 12 packed in an airtight film 1 to provide a main suction pipe 13. However, the shape holding of the core is difficult with the suction for by this alone and therefore a cruciform type branch pipe 9 is disposed in the central part of the core, and flexible hoses 7 are extended from this in accordance with the shape of the core.
