Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the easy manufacture of a wound-core formed in an arbitrary shape, by a method wherein a cylindrical outer frame is formed by utilizing a silicon steel sheet at an outermost periphery of a wound-core, and a plurality of the silicon steel sheets having a given length are placed in order at the inside of the outer frame. CONSTITUTION:A silicon steel sheet at an outmost periphery of a wound-core, which is being formed, is formed in a cylinder, and is fastened using a doubling plate 8 to form an outer frame 1. A required number of silicon steel sheets 2, 3, 4..., having a winding size 2pit (t=thickness of the silicon steel sheet), are cut in order and are placed in order at the inside of the outer frame 1 so that the opposite ends of each silicon steel sheet are abutted to each other. After a required number of the silicon steel sheets are housed in the outer frame 1, the wound-core 1 is molded in an optional shape to anneal it as it is. This permits the manufacture of a steady wound-core and facilitates the formation of the wound-core 7.
