Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the peeling of lining and the formation of clearances surely and easily by producing a conduit for a transmitter of an electromagnetic flowmeter and a structure for detaining the lining simultaneously to one body by casting. CONSTITUTION:A detaining structural body resisting the force in a diametral direction acting upon a conduit integrally with a lining applied internally upon said conduit is produced simultaneously in one body to said conduit by casting, after which the lining is applied. For example, a mold for casting a conduit 6 having a pipe part 6a, flange parts 6b and grooves 6c of a mushroom shape in section extending in the axial direction of the pipe is made, and the conduit 6 is cast by using this, after which a lining 7 is applied on the inside circumferential surface of the conduit 6 formed with the grooves 6c. According to the above-mentioned method, the number of working manhours is reduced, there is no possibility for peeling of the lining and the formation of clearances and the stable and accurate measurement is possible.
