Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a subject printer which simplifies a circuit constitution and a lead arrangement, by a method wherein electric elements, causing a decrease of an electric resistance resulting from the irradiation with light, are located between a separated power source and an attracting power source, and are irradiated with light and scanned in order by a light irradiating and scanning device. CONSTITUTION:The rear end of a wire 11i is connected to a print electrode 61i, and an element, which is reduced in an electric resistance resulting from the irradiation with light such as photo thyristor tip 64i, is connected betwen an end of a branch line electrode 62i and a print electrode 61i. One of a common electrode 63 and a back electrode 41 is coupled to one end of an attracting voltage power source via a switch, and the other is joined to the other end. A photo thyristor, irradiated with laser, is energized, the voltage of the electrode 63 is applied to a wire connected to the photo thyristor, an attracting electric field is produced between the end of the wire and the electrode 41, and ink at the end of the wire advances toward the electrode 41 to reach a recording paper 50.
